DEI Collaborative

The DEI Collaborative transforms employer organizations to be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive by facilitating deep learning with senior leaders. We support executives in deepening thier personal commitment to diversity,  equity, and inclusion and leveraging that commitment to lead meaningful change.

Program Features

  • Professionally-facilitated, cross-sector cohorts. Each cohort is limited to 15 executive-level leaders.

  • Network of peers committed to driving greater diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our communities.

  • Intercultural Development Inventory assessment and private feedback session.

  • Individual coaching and support with ongoing support beyond the cohort experience.

  • Access to an online data dashboard to track regional progress and provide benchmarks for your organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
  • DEI cohorts of senior executives provide real-time support as crises and other decision points arise; space to have difficult conversations about the challenges that leaders face;

  • ​Deep exploration of the identities and cultural lenses that inform leadership that enables participants to effectively drive greater diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our communities.

Program Overview

Meet the Team

Program Director

Victoria Ford has led the DEI Collaborative since 2018. She brings over 15 years of experience in developing, managing, and facilitating leadership development and civic engagement programs, including serving as Program Manager for Community Leadership at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, Director of Leadership Development and Design for Leadership for Educational Equity, and Policy Manager for the Citizens League. She is trained in the Art of Hosting, and as a Racial Justice Facilitator with the YWCA of Minneapolis

Lead Facilitator

Damon Shoholm has been a leader in the nonprofit sector for over a decade, developing a strong reputation for leadership development, civic engagement, and facilitation. He is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory, and is trained in the Art of Hosting and Technology of Participation facilitation methods. From 2014 – 2020, Damon served as the Director of the James P. Shannon Leadership Institute. Currently, in addition to the DEI Collaborative, Damon facilitates Leadership Saint Paul and serves as Partner of Counsel with Ballinger-Leafblad, an executive search firm.
