Our fifth annual Career Connect Day will be on October 13, 2026, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. Join us as we welcome more than 1,000 students and more than 100 businesses!

Register for a Booth
Participants will have the opportunity to connect with organizations in the following six sectors:

  • Health & Science Technology
  • Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology
  • Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources
  • Human Services
  • Business, Management & Administration
  • Arts, Communications & Information Systems

For students: This experience reflects how students at increasingly younger ages are working to envision their paths beyond high school. There are more options than ever before for students to volunteer, intern, and shape their educational experiences. Our thriving business community wants to help students explore their opportunities and help them understand how they can dream and create their own paths to the future.

If you are interested in attending, pleases contact us at [email protected].

For businesses: Participating businesses will get to both hear from the next generation of students and talk with them about two- and four-year education options, technical and trades skill sets, and professional careers and entrepreneurial ventures, and will get to connect to people looking for work right now.
Interested in participating? Contact us at [email protected].

Register now to be a sponsor or exhibitor!
Career Connect promises to be a day of inspiration and connection for all! The event is free for students.
If you have questions, or would like to participate in 2026, please email us at [email protected].

For Businesses: Help Students See What is Possible

This event gives high school students a chance to explore what a “day in the life” looks like in a wide range of careers. As a sponsor or exhibitor, your business plays a key role in opening students’ eyes to new industries, career paths, and real-world possibilities they may not have considered.

Why participate?
  • Inspire the next generation of workers in your field
  • Build long-term awareness and interest in your industry.
  • Support workforce development in your community
  • Connect with students, educators, and future job seekers
  • Demonstrate your commitment to equity and opportunity

Whether you're sharing tools of the trade, talking about your career journey, or offering hands-on demos, your presence helps students imagine their future—and take steps toward it.

Interested in participating? Contact us [email protected] or register now! .

For Schools: Help your students discover their path
The St. Paul Area Chamber invites St. Paul area high schools to participate in Career Connect. We encourage district leaders, school career counselors, and teachers to bring high school students to connect and engage with local businesses and expose them to career options before they make decisions about post-high school education and training. Last year we had tremendous success and we look forward to expanding this year! Students will have 90 minutes to explore career pathways and engage with local businesses and organizations. We have six time slots, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis, between 9 am and 12 pm. This is not your typical trade show! We are encouraging participating businesses to get creative in how they structure their booth, offering hands-on activities, utilizing technology, and staffing their booth with someone who is close in age to the students when possible.

The Ramsey County Workforce Innovation Board will cover busing costs for all participating schools in Ramsey County once again this year. If you have questions, please email [email protected].

For Educators:
Students are thinking about their futures earlier than ever. With more opportunities to volunteer, intern, and shape their educational experiences, they’re empowered to explore what’s possible beyond high school. This event reflects that shift—and invites your students to connect with a supportive business community that’s eager to help them dream big and chart their own unique paths to the future.

If you’re interested in attending or bringing students, please contact us at [email protected].
